Ingredients
- 700 g (1,5 lb) carrots
- 100 g (1 stick) butter
- 1 tsp salt
- ยฝ tsp pepper
- ยผ tsp thyme (and/or dill)
Directions
- Either grate or finely chop the carrots and put them to boil for 5 minutes.
- Drain the carrots and add 1 stick of butter.
- Cook the carrots in butter on low heat for approximately 5 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Turn off the heat and garnish with thyme and dill.
- Serve it as it is or as a side dish for fish recipes, meatballs, or schnitzel.
