Ingredients
- 2 tbsp preferred cooking oil (vegetable oil, butter, lard)
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 onion
- 1 cup tomato juice
- 1 cup bone stock
- 2 tsp chopped parsley
- 1 tbsp flour
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- In a saucepan, melt the preferred cooking oil and add 1 tablespoon of water.
- Add one finely chopped onion and let it sweat for 2-3 minutes.
- Add 1 cup of tomato juice and let the sauce cook for 5 minutes.
- Add 1 cup of bone stock and let it boil for another 5 minutes.
- Add 1 tablespoon of flour to thicken the sauce and season with salt and pepper.
- Turn off the stove and add chopped parsley.
- Serve it with a variety of cooked meats and vegetables.
