Ingredients
- 500 ml (17 oz) milk
- 250 g (1 cup) flour
- 50 g or half of stick of butter
- 2 eggs
- 150 g (5 oz) breadcrumbs
- 100 g (3,5 oz) of sugar
- 100 g (3,5 oz) cherries (apricots)
Directions
- Add 1 cup of flour in 500 ml of boiling hot milk and blend very well.
- When the composition is tied up nicely in a dough, knead it with 50 g of butter.
- Let the dough rest in the fridge for the next hour.
- From the dough, form little squares, add 1-2 cherries (1 apricot) in the middle and close up the squares in little dumplings.
- Boil the dumplings for 15 minutes.
- Roll the dumplings through lightly fried breadcrumbs and sugar.
