Cherry Dumplings

Delectable Cherry Dumplings, Soft Dough Filled With Juicy Cherries, Rolled in Breadcrumbs and Sugar. A Sweet Treat for Indulgence.

Ingredients

  • 500 ml (17 oz) milk                                                  
  • 250 g (1 cup) flour                                                   
  • 50 g or half of stick of butter                                     
  • 2 eggs                                                                       
  • 150 g (5 oz) breadcrumbs
  • 100 g (3,5 oz) of sugar
  • 100 g (3,5 oz) cherries (apricots)

Directions

  1. Add 1 cup of flour in 500 ml of boiling hot milk and blend very well. 
  2. When the composition is tied up nicely in a dough, knead it with 50 g of butter. 
  3. Let the dough rest in the fridge for the next hour. 
  4. From the dough, form little squares, add 1-2 cherries (1 apricot) in the middle and close up the squares in little dumplings.
  5.  Boil the dumplings for 15 minutes.
  6. Roll the dumplings through lightly fried breadcrumbs and sugar.
