Creamy Stock Sauce


  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 6 tbsp beef stock
  • 1 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 hard-boiled egg yolk
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. In a saucepan, melt the butter.
  2. When the butter has completely melted add 1 tablespoon of flour and let it cook for 1 minute while constantly stirring.
  3. Thin the sauce with 6 tablespoons of beef stock and let it boil for 5 minutes on low heat.
  4. Add 1 grated hard-boiled egg yolk and 2 tsp of lemon juice and turn off the stove.
  5. Blend well.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Add 1 tablespoon of sour cream
  8. Serve it with any type of fish, chicken, turkey, broccoli, asparagus, etc.
