Sweet Stock Glaze


  • 4 tbsp preferable cooking fat(oil, butter, lard)
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 5 tbsp chicken stock (can be replaced with any type of stock or even water if necessary)


  1. Heat up the preferred cooking fat, add 2 tablespoons of sugar, and let it melt on low heat.
  2. Thin out this mixture with 2 tablespoons of chicken stock. (or preferred stock/water)
  3. Mix 1 tablespoon of flour with 3 tablespoons of chicken stock. (or preferred stock/water)
  4. Pour this flour mixture over the sauce.
  5. Season with salt.
  6. Serve it with quince stew, plum stew, apricot stew, steaks, barbecue, etc.
