Seafood Delight: Discover the Best Salmon Salad Ever (Norwegian Recipe)


  • 200 g (14 oz) smoked salmon
  • 4 hard-boiled eggs
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 onion
  • 4 potatoes ( approximate weight: 500 g or 17,6 oz)
  • 4 tbsp vegetable oil (preferably sunflower or canola oil)
  • 2 tsp mustard
  • 1 tsp fresh parsley
  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. Wash and boil the potatoes on their skin for 35 minutes.
  2. Peel the potatoes from their skin, cut them into cubes, and add them in a large bowl.
  3. Cut the salmon into cubes and add them to the potatoes. Proceed the same with the hard-boiled eggs.
  4. Chop the onion julienne and add it over the potatoes and salmon.
  5. Make a sauce out of 4 tsp of oil, 2 tsp of mustard, the juice from a lemon, and 1 tsp of fresh parsley.
  6. Incorporate this sauce with the salad.
  7. Serve.
