Ingredients
- 500 g (1,1 lb) celeriac
- 500 g (1,1 lb) potatoes
- 3 onions
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp salt
- ยฝ tsp ground pepper
- ยฝ tsp cayenne pepper
- 4 tbsp butter (vegetable oil)
- thyme
- rosemary
Directions
- Peel, wash, and dice the celeriac, potatoes, and onions.
- Saute all the chopped vegetables in 4 tbsp of butter for 5 minutes.
- Add 2 liters (0,43 gall) of water over the vegetables and let it boil for 30 minutes.
- Blend the vegetables either with a blender or a manual masher.
- Add 2 tbsp of lemon juice and season with salt, ground pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Add finely chopped thyme and rosemary.
- Serve it with croutons or garlic toast.
