Cheap Tartare Sauce


  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped pickles (dill pickles preferably)
  • 1 tbsp chopped capers
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped parsley (or dill) 
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. Mix the mayonnaise with finely chopped pickles, capers, fresh parsley (or dill), mustard, and lemon juice.
  2. Stir the ingredients until they are well combined.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Refrigerate for a minimum of 30 minutes before serving.
