Ingredients
- 3-4 onions
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2-3 tomatoes
- 1 salad head
- 100 ml yogurt (Greek preferably)
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1 tsp honey (can be replaced by 1 ยฝ tsp sugar)
- 1-2 tsp lemon juice
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Wash, clean, and slice the onions into rings, sprinkle with vegetable oil, salt and pepper.
- Roast the onion rings in the preheated oven at 180ยฐ C (356 ยฐ F) for 20 minutes on baking paper.
- In a large bowl, add sliced tomatoes and the cut green salad.
- Make a sauce out of yogurt, honey, and lemon juice.
- Add roasted onions over the tomatoes and green salad.
- Pour yogurt sauce over the salad and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve it cold.
