Ingredients
- 1 kg (35 oz) spinach
- 500 g (17,6 oz) chicken breast
- 1 onion (100 g – 3,5 oz)
- 100 g (1 stick) butter
- 3 tbsp sour cream
- 1 tbsp flour
- 3-4 garlic cloves
- salt and pepper to taste
- fresh parsley (dill, thyme)
Directions
- Saute one finely chopped onion in melted butter.
- Add chopped (ground) chicken breast and let it cook for 20 minutes on low heat.
- Add spinach and let it cook together with the meat for another 10 minutes.
- Mix 1 tbsp of flour with 3 tbsp of sour cream and 3-4 crushed garlic cloves.
- Pour the mixture over the spinach and blend.
- Add salt and pepper to taste and blend.
- Turn off the stove and garnish with finely chopped desired herbs.
- Serve it alone or alongside risotto, mashed potatoes, potato salads, cus-cus, etc.
