Ingredients
- 3 tbsp cooking fat (butter, oil or lard)
- 1 tbsp flour
- 4 tbsp stock (any type of stock: fish, chicken, pork, beef,everything works)
- 2 tbsp canned mushrooms
- 2 tbsp of grated cheese (mozzarella/ parmesan/cheddar)
- 3 tbsp sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Herbs of your preference (dill, parsley, thyme, rosemary, oregano, etc.)
Directions
- Put the preferred cooking fat to heat, add 1 tbsp of flour, and mix with care without burning the flour.
- Add 4 tbsp of preferable stock blend well and let it boil for a couple of minutes. (3-4 minutes)
- Add finely chopped mushrooms and let it cook for 2 minutes on medium-low heat.
- Add the preferred grated cheese (mozzarella/parmesan, etc.), blend and let it melt.
- Add sour cream, salt, and pepper to taste and close off the stove.
- Season with preferred herbs.
- Serve it with steaks, fish, meatloaf, chicken etc.
