Waldorf Salad the Easy Recipe


  • 3 pieces of normal-sized celeriac (can be replaced with celery sticks)
  • 2-3 apples
  • 1-2 carrots
  • 1-2 cups of mayonnaise
  • small cluster of grapes
  • herbs (dill and or parsley)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: boiled chicken breast
  • Optional: few slices of oranges


  1. Clean and peel the celeriacs, apples, and carrots and finally grate them.
  2. Add bite-sized cubes of boiled (or fried) chicken breast.
  3. Add the grapes.
  4. Sprinkle all the ingredients with salt and let them rest for 20 minutes.
  5. Mix them with mayonnaise and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve.
