Spicy Deviled Eggs


  • 4 boiled eggs
  • 1 tbsp anchovy paste
  • 50 grams (half of stick) butter
  • 2-3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp of chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp of preferred herb (parsley / dill)


  1. Cut the boiled eggs in half.
  2. Make a paste out of the egg yolks by mashing them.
  3. Add 1 tbsp of anchovy paste, 50 grams of melted and cooled off butter, salt, pepper to taste, and 1 tsp of chili powder. Blend thoroughly.
  4. Fill the egg whites with the just made paste and place them over a bed of mayonnaise.
  5. Sprinkle with pepper and your preferred herb.
  6. Serve as a delightful appetizer.
