Ingredients
- 500 g (17 oz) potatoes
- 2-3 bay leaves
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1 tsp peppercorns
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- optional: a pinch of dill / parsley
Directions
- Wash the potatoes very well and boil them in their peel for 35 minutes.
- Alongside potatoes add 2-3 bay leaves, 1 tsp of ground pepper, 1 tsp of nutmeg, and 1 tsp of salt.ย
- Peel the potatoes off and chop them, add one tablespoon of vegetable oil, and garnish with preferred herbs.
- Serve them with capers sauce or chopped pickles.
- It can also be paired with steak, fish, meatloaf, etc.
