Ingredients
- 2 ripe avocados
- juice from 1 lime
- 50 g (1/4 cup) finely chopped red onion
- 1 small tomato, diced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- salt and pepper to taste
- chopped cilantro
Directions
- Cut the avocados in half, scoop the flesh into a bowl, and mash them with a fork or a potato masher until smooth or chunky, depending on personal preference.
- Add lime juice, finely chopped onion, finely diced tomato, and crushed garlic.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Blend everything until well combined into a paste.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro.
- Optionally you can add spicy peppers.
- Serve alongside tortilla chips, topping for tacos, nachos, or any favorite dish.
