 Homemade Crepes


  • 250 g (8,8 oz) flour
  • 500 ml (17 oz) milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 50 g (½ stick) butter (can be replaced with vegetable oil, sunflower or canola)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • desired toppings: chocolate or vanilla sauce, fruit jelly, whipped cream, ice cream, fresh fruits, etc.


  1. In a large bowl, add the flour and crack 4 large whole eggs.
  2. Mix the flour with the eggs in a smooth batter.
  3. Add melted butter, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to the mixture and blend.
  4. Gradually add milk, thinning the composition until you get a wet batter.
  5. Use a ladle to pour batter into a hot non-stick pan. If you are using stainless steel pans, spray a bit of oil on the surface of the pan before cooking the crepes.
  6. Cook the crepes on both sides at medium-high heat until golden.
  7. Serve the crepes with a variety of toppings of your choosing.
