Ingredients
- 400 g (14 oz) flour
- 135 g (4,7 oz) butter (can be replaced with lard)
- 100 g (3,5 oz) sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 ยฝ tsp vanilla extract
- a pinch of salt
Directions
- Cream the butter (lard) with sugar, vanilla extracts, eggs, and a pinch of salt.
- Add the flour over the buttery mixture and blend.
- Let the dough rest in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- Form biscuits of desired shapes and sizes with the help of a biscuit extruder or cookie cutters.
- Bake the biscuits on a cookie sheet topped with parchment paper at 160เฅฐC/ 320เฅฐ F for 20 minutes.
- Garnish the biscuits with powdered sugar or cinnamon.
- Serve the biscuits warm or cold with coffee, tea, or as an ingredient to other desserts.
