Chickpea and Tuna Salad Sensation


  • 400 g (14 oz) canned chickpeas
  • 400 g (14 oz) canned tuna
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 1 salad head
  • 200 g (7 oz) radishes
  • ½ tsp thyme
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. Wash and strain the canned chickpeas. Strain all the liquid from the tuna as well.
  2. Add the chickpeas and the tuna to a large bowl and add 1 finely chopped onion.
  3. Wash, clean, and chop the radishes and add them over the chickpeas, tuna, and onion mixture.
  4. Wash and portion the salad and add it into the mix.
  5. Make a vinaigrette out of 3 tbsp of vegetable oil, 2 tbsp of lemon juice, ½ tsp of thyme, ½ tsp chili powder, salt and pepper.
  6. Pour the vinaigrette over the salad and blend with care.
  7. Serve
